Amazing hidden gem of Parma…Home cooked Sicilian family owned fresh seafood. It was amazing and the owner was the nicest and very welcoming of the Americans in Italy! Highly recommended!

A very personal place to enjoy great hospitality, food and wine. I had dinner on my own as I was travelling for work from Australia and Nino and his staff made me feel very welcomed, despite the language barrier. Ask Nino (via whatever method of language) to put on his CD or play his guitar for you; I'm sure you would enjoy it as much as I did. Have dinner here to experience Parma!

Well with the walk from Parma Centro or grab a 10€ taxi. Lovely seafood options and kind and friendly service. So glad the 4 of us made the effort!

What a lovely little find! This is clearly a family owned restaurant, and the owner (I assume) showed his pleasure at finding us as his guests. Although we speak no Italian, and he speaks no English, we were able to understand enough to order, and let him know how fantastic the dishes we received were. My mother ordered the oysters, and I'm not sure I've ever seen her enjoy them more. They were really exquisite! We both asked for spaghetti with clams, which wasn't exactly on the menu, but they happily customized for us, and it was wonderful! We've been ordering spaghetti vongolese all over Italy, and this was definitely in the top two. Note: they did have an English version of their menu, and the waitress spoke a little English. We rounded out the evening with a lovely lemon "sorbetto" which seems to be almost like a sherbet drink in this region of Italy, unlike the gelato/ice cream it was in Milan. Even though it wasn't what we were expecting, it was perfect! The service was fantastic, and I loved hearing the owner singing along with the low-key Italian music playing in the background. The decor was totally charming, although not fancy or pretentious at all. We're probably going again tomorrow night, it was that good.
